Nowadays we have computers with high storage capacity, we can store our data in the cloud and smartphones that can help us access it all at the drop of a hat.. We have grown accustom to technology which is becoming harder live without. But, of course, technology has had to evolve into what it is now.

For example, you may know that in 1984 Apple launched its first Mac computer, but do you know what other invention was created in the same year and thanks to it we can now enjoy our tablets and smartphones?

Did you know that the first RAID-style array patent was filed in 1978, 10 years prior to the release of the influential ‘A Case for Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks (RAID)’ paper was published; or that the world’s first commercial data recovery was performed in 1987?
