Ontrack becomes first Data Recovery Service Company to be listed on GSA scheduleOntrack Data Recovery, Inc., the worlds largest data recovery service provider, today announced that it has become the first data recovery company to have its services made available on a General Services Administration (GSA) schedule. Through a partnership arrangement with ANADAC, a leading system integration and consulting firm for the federal market, government computer users are now able to purchase data recovery services in a more efficient, affordable and effective manner than was previously available.
Ontrack is committed to making its data recovery services affordable and readily available to the federal market. As a measure of this commitment, Ontrack opened its first federal office in Washington, D.C. in June of 1995. In the twelve months following the opening of the office, Ontrack has dramatically increased its presence in the federal market by expanding its data recovery lab facilities; engineering, sales and support staff; and marketing activities.
Thanks to our listing on the GSA schedule, customers can have more immediate access to our data recovery services, said Liz Cournoyer, Sales Manager, Federal Systems. The GSA schedule allows us to react faster to their data disasters and helps us to eliminate the potentially devastating effects of extended downtime.
With its secure facilities and safeguarding capabilities, Ontrack addresses the handling and processing requirements of sensitive information, and currently holds numerous prime contracts with government agencies for data recovery and media declassification services. A representative list of Ontracks government customers includes the FBI, DEA, USDA, GSA, Department of Energy, State Department, Postal Service, FAA, and numerous military agencies. In June, 1995, Ontrack was recognized for its commitment to the security requirements of the federal government when it was awarded the Department of Defense James S. Cogswell Outstanding Industrial Security Achievement Award.
