Kroll Ontrack enhances award-winning review tool to better empower e-discovery review teams
Ontrack Inview now has analytical visualization, categorization logic and management and production capabilities
Minneapolis – Jan. 20, 2009 – Kroll Ontrack®, the industry's largest provider of paper and electronic discovery, computer forensics, ESI consulting, and courtroom and presentation services, today announced the launch of Ontrack® Inview™ 5.6, an enhanced version of its industry leading online document repository. Offering the most sophisticated review technology available today, Ontrack Inview 5.6 allows users to have more control over their document review at each stage of the review lifecycle incorporating new Analytical Visualization, Categorization Logic and Production capabilities.
"We understand that document review can be a time consuming and costly process, which is why Kroll Ontrack is continually working to improve Ontrack Inview's efficiencies," said Nancy Robertson, Vice President of Legal Technologies Product Management for Kroll Ontrack. "With the addition of these features, Ontrack Inview 5.6 is no longer simply a review tool. Its new, robust capabilities make it a full-service e-discovery management solution, which will further drive down the costs of discovery."
Ontrack Inview's new capabilities allow users to have more control over their document review at each stage of the review lifecycle with the addition of the following features:
- Enhanced Analytical Visualization. Provides users with the power to analyze and interact with their most potentially relevant data by visually displaying who is communicating with whom, when they communicated and what subjects they were communicating about. Early detection of common themes within review data can be revealed, ultimately allowing document review teams to be more productive and accurate in making responsiveness and privilege decisions.
- Categorization Logic. Enables users to customize their category tree and more effectively manage potentially conflicting categorization of a document. With built-in category intelligence, users will spend less time performing quality control to ensure documents are accurately marked during review.
- Production Images. Allows users to view the exact production images delivered to the opposition as well as review documents and associated work product with production data in the same database, eliminating the need to have an additional solution to maintain production data.
Ontrack Inview 5.6 is available in the United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong. For more information about Ontrack Inview 5.6 visit www.krollontrack.com/ontrack-inview/.
