Kroll Ontrack enhances trial preparation solution with unique graphic manager and venue profile applications

Minneapolis – December 8, 2009 – Kroll Ontrack®, the industry's largest provider of paper and electronic discovery, computer forensics and ESI consulting, jury consulting, and courtroom presentation services, today announced the launch of a new version of Ontrack® Prepview, a Web-based trial preparation platform that helps attorneys collaborate and strategically organize all case information in one central location. With the addition of Graphic Manager and Venue Profile modules, Ontrack Prepview users benefit from a unique and more complete trial preparation solution that streamlines the graphic construction and management process as well as courthouse research, saving clients time and resources.

"With an expanding litigation landscape, legal teams must grapple with how to efficiently and effectively manage cases while also managing costs," said Erica Holborn, vice president of trial services for Kroll Ontrack and former president of TrialGraphix. "Ontrack Prepview allows case teams to collaborate and organize case information in real-time. This process is further simplified by the addition of a new graphic creation and management tool as well as juror demographics and courthouse detail – all right at your fingertips."

Specifically, Ontrack Prepview's Graphic Manager allows case teams to quickly and efficiently collaborate with their trial teams during the various stages of the graphic creation process by maintaining an accurate graphics archive in real-time. Users eliminate time-consuming tasks such as e-mailing, printing and marking up graphic presentations by doing so on the screen within the Graphic Manager module. Furthermore, users can store, share and keep an inventory of demonstratives for trial preparation and reuse them on future related matters.

In addition to Graphic Manager, case teams gain a competitive advantage over their adversary by utilizing the Venue Profile module to access valuable statistical information related to juror demographics and courthouse information. Compiled by seasoned Kroll Ontrack jury consultants, users have access to juror demographics on age, ethnicity, income, voter breakdown; courtroom layouts; links to courthouse resources; and other pertinent information including local maps, airports and weather.

Also available to Ontrack Prepview users is the Document Manager module as well as the tool's original module, Transcript Manager. While Transcript Manager allows users to easily load, classify, review and annotate deposition transcripts, Document Manager serves as a Web-based centralized repository for securely hosting legal documents. Providing 24/7 access to members regardless of their location, it enables teams to share case documents easily, so they can be more strategic managing the case at hand.

Ontrack Prepview is currently available in the United States. For more information about Ontrack Prepview visit www.ontrackprepview.com.
