The fixed price has restrictions
You may find that the fixed fee is limited to standard hard drives or other relatively more straightforward recoveries. Therefore, such offers exclude more complex recoveries, but this is not communicated by the attractive headline of ‘fixed-fee recovery’.
Ask a prospective data recovery provider questions about what work is covered by the fixed fee. Are replacement parts included in the fixed fee? What happens if more than one set of parts are needed. The failed disk drive often damages the replacement parts so two sets are needed; this has a cost. What about if the recovery takes many days/ weeks, does the fixed fee still hold? What exactly are the conditions of the fixed price offer?
